My name is Sean Rodgers. I’m a down-to-earth personnel development and life coach.
I currently work for the NHS delivering specialist psychosocial interventions and I have a Transformative Coaching private practice.
I’m passionate about meaningful change. My aim is to support you in developing your fullest potential and achieving your life goals. I believe personal development is personal empowerment.
I bring both professional training and practical experience to my coaching practice. This background enables me to work effectively with a broad range of clients, providing support that is empathetic, practical, and results-focused. My qualifications include:

ACE stands for Acceptance & Commitment Empowerment.
I practice Transformative Coaching and Acceptance & Commitment Coaching. These approaches enable me to deliver quality personal development and life coaching, at depth.
Transformative Coaching supports you in making significant lasting changes in your life. By increasing awareness of assumptions, beliefs and identity, you can explore new ways of thinking and behaving that better align with your values and life goals. This self-discovery empowers you to unlock your fullest potential.
Acceptance & Commitment Coaching draws on mindfulness skills to help you develop psychological flexibility. This helps create inner clarity, allowing you to align with meaningful, values- based action.
I also draw on other coaching models. Each approach is tailored to your individual needs to enable you to navigate challenges, build resilience and create meaningful change.
I support clients in a variety of areas, focusing on specific life goals, personal growth and overcoming life challenges.
My specialisations include:
Supporting you to reclaim your inner power by overcoming unhelpful beliefs to build strength, assertiveness and confidence.
This can also include stress management and burnout prevention.
Helping neurodivergent individuals unlock their unique potential by building strategies to successfully navigate a neurotypical world.
Empowering individuals to achieve sustained recovery and resilience from substance misuse and behavioural addictions through tailored support and strategies.

Life coaching is coaching relating to an individual’s personal life, as opposed to corporate coaching, which relates to business and organisations. A Life coach is not a life ‘expert’ but someone who is trained in using proven methods to achieve effective outcomes. Life coaching is sometimes called personal coaching. It is non-directive and provides a space to explore what is important to you.
Life coaching helps you close the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Together, we'll gain clarity about your goals, overcome what's holding you back, and create practical steps forward. The result is greater confidence, less stress, and meaningful progress towards the life you want to create.
It helps you design your life so it reflects your fullest potential. This is personal development as empowerment.
Life coaching supports you to achieve your goals across key areas such as health, personal growth, relationships, finances and career. By exploring your values, beliefs, and behavioural patterns, you can make intentional choices that align with your true priorities. It provides a structured yet flexible process to:

Life coaching focuses on helping you identify goals, build confidence, and make positive changes in areas such as personal development, career, health, and relationships. Unlike counselling, which often explores past experiences and emotional healing, coaching is future-focused and practical, helping you create strategies to move forward and achieve your goals.
How long you have coaching depends on your goals. Initially, I recommend up to six sessions, which we can review as we move through the sessions.
